The Home Emporium / Gozo Baths & Ceramics in Pieta Malta started as a family-run business, as the 'Ta Vella' family had always been a pioneer in the construction industry. On matters of construction and finishing works, return clients always had their minds at rest. Client satisfaction was always the most important goal for these entrepreneurs.

After only a year, Victor established his own importation company and opened his first showroom in Gozo for the sale of tiles, bathrooms, sanitary ware and adhesives for the general public.

Two years later, Victor ventured into the Maltese market and opened his offices in Msida. Determination and hard work resulted in the creation of V. J. Vella Imports as a well-established importer and distributor to more than 150 shops, retailers and showrooms across all Malta and Gozo
